Support of national providers of goods, work and services

Astana, 16 October 2008, (Khabar) - This is the main goal of amendments to the Law "About state purchases".

Ruslan Damenov, official of Ministry of
Finances presented the amendments in the profile committee of Mazhilis. The
bill consists of three blocs. The first bloc supposes implementation of
informational systems and state purchases due to electronic auction. Second
bloc develops national production and increases competitiveness of
Kazakhstani providers. For example, one of norms allows the national
companies to make orders at national enterprises without conducting
procedure of state purchases. The third bloc annihilates judicial collisions
and background for corrupted violations. These changes and additions were
initiated by the government and the President instructed to consider this
bill urgently.
