NAM Expected To Discuss Global Issues : MP

Tehran, Aug 25, IRNA – A member of Majlis (Parliament) said Saturday that the NAM member countries play effective role in the world developments, adding the nations expect the movement to seriously discuss international developments. Zargham Sadeqi told IRNA that the 120 member states of the Non-Aligned Movement can play active role in making decisions on major international developments. The parliamentarian said the world people expect the NAM meeting to support the oppressed nations. Referring to the Zionist regime's futile threats, he said holding the NAM meeting in the Iranian capital shows Iran's powerful diplomacy. The 16th NAM Summit meeting is planned for August 26-31./end
