Comoros FM lauds Supreme Leader’s remarks at NAM opening

Tehran, Aug 31, IRNA – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Comoros Mohamed Ben Abdoulfatah Charif said the remarks of the Iranian Supreme Leader at the opening of the NAM Summit contained many good points. Talking to IRNA when leaving Tehran Friday morning, he said the remarks were a great advise for the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). He added that the remarks made by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei at the opening ceremony of the 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit on Thursday were in fact a very important guideline for member states. The foreign minister said the remarks revealed the deep insight of the Iranian Leader. Iran, like other NAM member states, is after justice and peace in world, he added, noting that this was clearly reflected in the remarks of both Ayatollah Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The 16th NAM Summit opened on Thursday morning with the inaugural speech of the Supreme Leader. The leaders of NAM member states will resume their discussions on international and regional issues Friday morning.
