Yemeni, Turkish health cooperation discussed
SANA'A, Oct. 18 (Saba) - Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul Karim Rase'a held Saturday talks with Turkish Health Mission chaired by advisor Turkish Health Minister on aspects of developing health cooperation between the two countries.
The talks dealt with the possibility of the Turkish government to finance building a
central hospital in the province of Ibb.
The meeting also dealt with activating health cooperation protocol signed between
both countries including medical treatment grants for Yemeni patients in Turkey,
exchange of medical teams, training medical and health cadres and providing
scholarships for Yemeni doctors in medical institutions of Turkey.
Both sides reviewed ways of strengthening the relations between the two health
Ministries, benefiting from Turkish side in building and construction of specialized
health centers and modern model hospitals.
