General Authority of Civil Aviation and Austrian Civil Aviation Authority sign Memorandum of Understanding

Jeddah, October 19, SPA -- The General Authority of Civil Aviation
held here on Saturday a round of bilateral negotiations with the
Austrian Civil Aviation Authority to review the strategies of air
operating and to update the memorandum of understanding.

The supervisor of the central administration of the public relations
and media at the General Civil Aviation Authority Engineer Ayman Bakr
Naseef said that the new memorandum of understanding increases the
rate of regular flights between the two countries to become 14 trips
every week for the passengers and 14 trips every week for the cargo.

The Saudi delegation was headed by the Chairman of the General
Authority of Civil Aviation Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Noor
Rahimi and the Austrian delegation headed by Dr. Andreas Chmidenker
Minister in charge of transport, energy and environment at the
Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.

The bilateral negotiations were concluded by the signing of the
memorandum of understanding.
