Egyptian Minister highlights importance of Saudi-Egyptian economic cooperation

Riyadh, October 19, SPA -- Egyptian Minister of Commerce and Industry
Rasheed Mohammad Rasheed said his current visit to Saudi Arabia was
to hand a written message from Egyptian President Mohammad Hosni
Mubarak to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz.

In a press conference he held here today, he said that during the
audience with the king, talks focused on cooperation in the economic
fields between the two countries.

On the content of the letter handed to the king, the minister said
this letter is the beginning of solving the economic crisis and
coordination between the Saudi and Egyptian economies due to their
importance and stressed the need for promoting Saudi-Egyptian trade
and mutual investment.
