Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz patronizes ceremony

Riyadh, October 19, SPA--Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz,
Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs patronized here today
the ceremony held by Saudi Society for Architecture Science on the
occasion of its accession to the International Union of Architects.

Addressing the ceremony, Prince Dr. Mansour said, "Last year we
celebrated with the National Committee of Saudi Building Code the
accreditation of Saudi Building Code for concrete installations at
the International Standardization Organization " ISO" as Saudi Arabia
became the sixth country in the world accrediting concrete
installations as a major reference standard in the world".
He added, " Tonight, we celebrate the Society's accession to the
International Union of Architects, which undoubtedly reflects the
importance of this Society, its role and contributions to the
development of architectural sector since its foundation until now.
"
He pointed out that Saudi scientific societies and national
committees have been continually supported by The Custodian of the
Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown
Prince.
In a press statement following the ceremony, Prince Dr. Mansour
disclosed the presence of developmental plans for the forthcoming
elections of municipal councils in the Kingdom, noting that local and
foreign expertise will be asked for studying the system of those
councils.
