SOUTH KOREA TO REALIZE INVESTMENT IN BUOL, CENTRAL SULAWESI

Buol, C Sulawesi, Oct 20 (ANTARA)- South Korean businessmen through PT. Argo Enervia Indonesia will immediately realize some 20 trillion rupiah worth of investment in the agricultural sector in Buol district, Central Sulawesi, a spokesman said.
In a bid to realize the investment, PT. Argo Enervia Indonesia president director, Illyoginan met with Buol vice regent, Ramli Kadidia to talk about the investment, following the arrival of the company's heavy equipment at the company's plant site, Buol district's public relations officer Syamsuddin S Mangge, said here on Monday.
PT. Argo Enervia Indonesia is a consortium of South Korean conglomerates who will realize their investment in the most-northern Central Sulawesi district of Buol.
The meeting of Illyoginan with Buol's vice regent was also attended by eight South Korean businessmen, grouped in the consortium, Syamsuddin said, adding that the heavy equipment will be used to prepare 25 thousand hectares farmland.
The company planned to develop more than 20 types of agricultural commodities, Syamsuddin said, adding that the investment will last until 2015. One US dollar is worth 9,800 rupiahs.
