NSCM SECRETARY VISITS POLAND

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia (NSCM) Ts.Enkhtuvshin paid an official visit to the Republic of Poland on Monday by invitation of General Stanislaw Koziej, the head of Poland's National Security Bureau (PNSB). The two dignitaries held individual and expanded meetings. The agree that the two countries have similarities in several things such as the experience in transferring to the democracy. Thet underlined that the countries' troops have been serving together in the international peacekeeping operations in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, contributing to ensuring of the international security. The parties also discussed issues of developing the collaboration between offices of the NSCM and PNSB, and exchanged views and information on the national security in the both countries, on reform of the strategy planning sector, on anti-terrorism, and political and socio-economic changes in Central Asia and East Europe. With an aim to realize the matters discussed between the sides, the two sides signed a cooperation memorandum between the NSCM and PNSB. In accordance with it, they will strengthen the collaboration between the organizations and create a mechanism of exchanging experiences and information on international and regional security.
