Minister of Islamic Affairs makes statement 2 Riyadh

SPA - The minister added that the trial of those belonging to the cells of
the Deviant Group is important for realization of justice for the
families of those detained and the victims' families.

He said that their trial underlines the integrity of the judiciary in
the kingdom highlighting the importance of cooperation by all groups
of the society to confront the deviant thoughts.

The minister stressed the importance of spreading awareness and
moderation among the youths and called for the adoption of moderation
because Islam is based on moderation.

He also called on the mosques to carry out their role in confronting
sedition and called for obeying, advising and cooperating with the
ruler of the country.

The minister condemned the criminal acts and sinful bombings which
occurred in a number of Saudi cities and provinces during the past
few years and led to the killing of people and Muslims and
destruction of properties.
