EU`S STATEMENT ON PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN AZERBAIJAN DOES NOT REFLECT EXISTING REALITY, FOREIGN MINISTRY OF AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 22 0ctober ,(AzerTAj) - The statement on the 15 October presidential election in Azerbaijan made by France, in its capacity as President of the European Union, is incomprehensible and disappointing, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry`s press-service
said in its statement. The nature of the election process and opinion of international observers, including EU representatives, has been completely misrepresented, and existing reality has been replaced with partiality.
“We consider this biased appraoch does not reflect Azerbaijan people`s will,
contradict the nature of existing Azerbaijan-EU relationship and does not help to
increase the trust,” the statement said.
