DRAFT AMENDMENT TO CRIMINAL LAW SUBMITTED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Finance Ch.Ulaanbaatar submitted to the Speaker Z.Enkhbold a draft amendment to the criminal law on Thursday. The Minister wants to make clear some terms related to punishments for breaching the tax laws and resolutions, to evading paying taxes or concealing tax revenues. "Understanding about 'vast amount of revenue' liable to the taxes causes a conflict among the taxation authority, police and prosecutorial organization. Because of this, some tax-related crimes are not considered by the police and the prosecutorial organs," he explains and insists that parliament urgently discusses and adopts this amendment. B.Khuder
