CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on Saturday, the cabinet decided to mark the 100th birth anniversary of D.Chimid-Osor, a People's Artist. Obligations were given to Ts.Oyungerel, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism to set up for this event an organizational commission, to approve a plan of the anniversary measures, to implement it with the budget of this year. - The cabinet backed in principle a draft cooperation protocol on training and exercises to be established between the Domestic Army Forces, representing the government of Mongolia, and the Gendarmerie General Command, representing Turkey's government. The Prime Minister will grant a right to sign this document soon. - The cabinet approved the directives the Mongolian representatives are to adhere to during the 9th Mongolia-Laos intergovernmental commission on the trade, economics, science and technical cooperation, which is scheduled November 14-16 in Ulaanbaatar. The Minister of Health and head of the intergovernmental commission for the Mongolian side N.Udval was authorized to adopt a composition of the Mongolian delegation. - In accordance with related laws, the cabinet re-approved a composition of the Health Supporting Fund's board, and altered the fund's rule. - The cabinet appointed Mr Gantsogt Khurelbaatar the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
