PM ADDRESSES MEETING ON JUSTICE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag delivered a speech at a meeting titled "Reform of justice" on Tuesday in the Government House. This meeting brought together representatives of the President, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice and of other sectors. The Premier N.Altankhuyag said the President launched the reform in order to establish justice starting from the court sector, and congratulated the justice sector officials on being the first ever ones to launch this reform. "Since 1990s we made many reforms, but we have learned eventually that decisions and resolutions, issued by the state and justice organizations, had not been standing for the Mongolians, they just had been focusing on strengthening of this or that sector, and this made us realize that the reform must be run accorded with a key purpose and aimed at the protection of Mongolians' interests," the Premier underlined. "By forming the cabinet for reforms we do not intend to abolish things that do not please us, our goal is to change everything that people do not like and that is not fruitful for them," he added.
