MCAA HEAD MEETS AIR COMPANIES LEADERS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Head of the Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority /MCAA/, S.Batmunkh received leaders of companies engaged in air transportation service on November 13. He said parliament has been discussing a policy on development of Mongolia's civil aviation, this sphere has been improving in recent years after a long stagnation in times of economic transition. According to directives given by the state, the MCAA has been providing the companies' safety and has been improving a control, so the positive results achieved must be strengthened, he went on. Then the gathered talked about further works and an influence of policy documents on the companies' actions. The MCAA is a government agency charged with professional oversight and regulation of civil aviation activities in Mongolia. The MCAA is obliged under the Civil Aviation Law of Mongolia to direct its activities toward ensuring civil aviation safety and security. Ch.Enkhtuya
