EMBASSY IN SWITZERLAND CELEBRATES CHINGIS KHAAN'S BIRTHDAY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The 850th anniversary of Great Chingis Khaan, or the Day of national pride, has been widely celebrated in Switzerland. The action has been organized by the permanent mission of Mongolia to Switzerland, the Embassy of Mongolia and an association of Mongolians in Switzerland in Zurich. At the ceremonies on November 15 were representatives of Switzerland's Foreign Ministry, of state and nongovernmental organizations, which cooperate with our country, and the Mongolian living in Switzerland. The Permanent representative and ambassador Mr l.Orgil addressed the gathered. He is glad that the birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan has been so widely celebrated for the first time in history, "and the Mongolians must unite by their faith and spirit when marking this day."
