EDUCATION MINISTER IN KHOVD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Education and Sciences Mr L.Gantumur has run a meeting with teachers of secondary school and kindergarten of Jargalant soum in Khovd province. The Minister spoke about the cabinet's action plan, works for teachers, a "Book" programme, approved by the Minister's 51th resolution, and "Talent" programme, adopted by his 52th resolution. The he said that "through the education we can reach the globalization...The Mongolian largest natural resources and biggest banks have been owned by foreigners, why nor by the Mongolians? So, you teachers are vital in forming a citizen of our future, besides, the education sector must not be politicized." After the meeting, Mr Gantumur handed over to related official an expense document that lets purchase furniture, computers and chairs for secondary schools and kindergarten.
