Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan met with Pakistani officials

Islamabad, October 24, SPA -- The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Ali
bin Saeed Awad Asiri met here today with Pakistan's National
Assembly (parliament) Speaker Dr. Fahmida Mirza.

During the meeting, Asiri conveyed a letter from the Chairman of
the Saudi Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaid to Dr. Mirza.
For her part, Dr. Mirza expressed compliments to and appreciation of
the Chairman of the Shoura Council for his kind words. The two
officials also reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries
and ways of strengthening them.
Later, Asiri met with Pakistan's Minister of Information Sherry
Rehman here today.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and reviewed issues of common concern.
The Pakistani minister lauded the current relations binding the
two countries in various fields.
