Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolian athletes grabbed medals in the 3rd World Para Taekwondo Championship took place last week in Aruba. A sports master M.Shinebayar won a silver medal in the men's 58 kg weight category contest (A6); B.Davaachuluun and B.Ganid won bronze medals in the men's 58 kg (A5), and +80 kg contest, respectively. This year's championship attracted some 100 athletes from Azerbaijan, Spain, Mongolia, Brazil, Russia, France, Guatemala, Iran, Croatia, Canada, Finland, Australia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. ** ** ** A delegation headed by J.Otgontsagaan, the president of the Mongolia's Association of Sports Journalists (MASJ) will participate in the 16th Congress of the Asian Sports Journalists Federation to run from November 30 to December 2 in Kuwait. The Mongolia's delegation has comprised B.Tsagaanbaatar, the secretary-general of the MASJ; and D.Batjargal, a member of the MASJ representing sports journalists of Mongolia.
