MINISTER OF JUSTICE VISITS DPRK

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by Kh.Temuujin, the Minister of Justice paid an official visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) November 26-29 by invitation of Ri Myong-su, the Minister of People's Security.
Mr Temuujin was received by Kim Yong-nam, the Chairman of the Presidium of the North Korea's Supreme People's Assembly. The Minister expressed satisfaction with a sustainable development of the Mongolia-N.Korea traditional friendly relations and cooperation based on peoples' interests and common principles of the international relations.
The sides underlined an importance of expanding the bilateral cooperation in the fields of economics, investments, labour relations and legislative bodies, and exchanged views on exploiting the Rajin seaport of the N.Korea with a soft term and importing labour force from the N.Korea to the biggest projects on constructions, road and transportation in Mongolia.
The Minister held negotiations with Ri Myong-su, the Minister of People's Security, and signed cooperation agreement between the legislative bodies. It gives opportunities to share experiences in preventing crimes and detecting criminals, preparing staffers, exchanging students and teachers, developing cooperation in art and culture sectors.
The Mongolian delegation legged the Institute at the Ministry of People's Security, the Criminalistics Center and the Traffic Administration Center.
Mr Temuujin was accompanied by N.Ganbold, a head of the Corruption Combating Agency (CCA); G.Baigalmaa, the Vice Minister of Construction and Urban Development; B.Bilegt, a head of the General Police Department; and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labour, and the Ministry of Road and Transportation.
