B.BADRAL BECOMES ACTING GENERAL MANAGER OF ULAANBAATAR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On November 30, B.Badral was appointed as the acting General Manager of Ulaanbaatar city or head of the Office of UB city Mayor after the former Manager Ch.Bat was discharged from the post in accordance with his request. Before the appointment, B.Badral worked as a head of the Urban and Public Utility Section at the Mayor's Office. B.Badral was born in 1963. He graduated from the former #2 Russian secondary school in UB in 1980, the engineering pre-school of the Politechnic Institute in 1981, the Ural Polytechnic Institute (now Ural State Technical University of Russia) in 1986 and the Management Institute in 1993 majoring in electricity engineering. He has a master degree on technical science. In 1986-1992, he worked in the Central electricity system as a shift-dispatcher and general dispatcher, and from the year 1988 he worked as a senior dispatcher in the Central electricity system. He worked as a member of the People's Khural of Ulaanbaatar city in 1990-1992, as a project manager at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in 1992-1994, as an infrastructure manager at the central office of the Japan's Marubeni Corporation in UB in 1994-1996, as director of the "Energy International" LLC in 2003-2004, as a head of the Energy Policy and Regulatory Department of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy in 2004-2006, and as the first deputy president of the "Mongolian Union of Energy Engineers" NGO from the year 2006.
