MONGOLIA JOINS PACIFIC-ASIA CURLING FEDERATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Recently established Mongolia's Curling Federation (MCF) has joined the Pacific Asia Curling Federation (PACF) at a general assembly in Naseby, New Zealand.
Thanks to it, Mongolia can now send its athletes to all international tournaments and to have joint trainings in Asian countries.
During the general assembly, S.Natsagdorj, the MCF president, made some agreements with the PACF on inviting foreign experts to Mongolia and organizing training-seminars.
The PACF is the regional sport body responsible for the development and promotion of curling in the Pacific-Asia region. Working with the World Curling Federation, the PACF organizes regional championships which lead to qualification for the WCF's World Championships.
Currently, the PACF has eight member associations who are also members of the WCF--from Australia, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, S.Korea, New Zealand, and Taipei. The Mongolian Curling Federation is the newest member.
