Annual Horse Race for King's Cup starts in Tokyo 2

Speaking on the occasion, Tarrad expressed happiness for organizing
the horse race, and said it embodies the existing friendly relations
between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan.


He thanked Japan for the approval to raise the grade of the horse
race to the third category which is internationally recognized.


On his part, al-Zuneidi expressed happiness for the passage of nine
years since the start of this horse race.


He noted that the cup of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has
been designed for the race after its classification to the third
category.


Dr al-Zuneidi said people in the two countries attach a great
importance to the horse race, adding that a horse race for the cup of
Japan was organized last March at Janadriyah, near Riyadh city.
