MONGOLIANS TO COMPETE IN DAKAR RALLY FIRST TIME

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian racers will for the first time take part in the Dakar Rally, annual Dakar Series rally raid type of off-road race, organized by the Amaury Sport Organization. A news conference on the news was called in the Press Conference. Mongolia will be represented at the 2013 Dakar Rally by two racers--D.Boldbaatar and N.Lhamaa, international masters of sports. They will compete in the off-road bikes category. In conjunction with it, a national race of cars will be organized on December 9, expected to attract about 50 Russian-made UAZ-469 cars. Money from the race will be donated for travel for the Mongolian racers. The 2013 Dakar Rally will take place January 5-20 in South America through territories of Peru, Argentina and Chile. The racers will cover 8,400 km way in two weeks, or 500-700 km way a day. B.Khuder
