KYRGYZSTAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES N.ALTANKHUYAG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In frames of an expanded meeting of the 11th Prime Ministerial Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag was received Wednesday by Almazbek Atambayev, the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. The Premier congratulated Mr Atambayev on successfully organizing the SCO's Prime Ministerial Meeting, and invited him to the 7th Ministerial Meeting of the Community of Democracies (CoD) to be held in April the next year in Ulaanbaatar. N.Altankhuyag said his visit to Kyrgyzstan is important in terms of realizing issues agreed during Mongolian President's state visit paid to this country in April this year. He expressed a willingness of Mongolia to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in areas of tourism, mining and agriculture, as well as in preparing light industry and engineering cadres in Kyrgyz universities and institutes. Emphasizing a successful collaboration at a regional level, the Premier said Mongolia wants to deepen the relations with Kyrgyzstan and to join the energy and infrastructure projects which are to be implemented in a line of the SCO. Then, the dignitaries discussed issues of landlocked countries. Mongolia hopes that the Kyrgyz side will support measures for establishing the International Think-Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries at an initiative of Mongolia. B.Khuder
