L.BOLD MEETS RUSSIAN COUNTERPART S.LAVROV

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr L.Bold met with Mr S.Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russian Federation on fields of the 19th Session of OSCE Ministerial Council in Dublin. The Russian side congratulated Mongolia on becomong the member of the OSCE and expressed a confidence that Mongolia will contribute to the OSCE. Mr Lavrov noted that the two countries have been cooperating in frames of the Unites Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and that new opportunities are opening for the sides to collaborate in frames of OSCE. The two countres need to focus on boosting the economical cooperation, and its matters are to be discussed at the Mongolia-Russian intergovernmental commission which will run soon in Ulaanbaatar, he said. The Minister for Foreign Affairs L.Bold expressed a gratitude to Russia for supporting Mongolia in its becoming the member of the OSCE, and underlined that Mongolia has been giving a special attention to developing of the relations and cooperation with Russia.
