FM AT OSCE MINISTERIAL MEETING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the first day of the 19th Session of OSCE Ministerial Council in Dublin, the Minister for Foreign affairs L.Bold met with several officials. Among them were the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President, a High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy /HR/, Foreign ministries of the Great Britain, Belgium, Principality of Monaco, Republic of Cyprus, Republic of Tajikistan, Switzerland, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Lithuania, Principality of Liechtenstein, Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Thailand. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Riccardo Migliori said Mongolia's parliament is becoming a member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, for Mongolia is nowq the 57th member of the OSCE. Then he expressed confidence that the Great State Khural will actively cooperate with the organization's Parliamentary Assembly. The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy /HR/, Ms Catherine Ashton congratulated L.Bold and Mongolia on becoming a member of the OSCE. She said the long-awaited Mongolia-EU agreement on partnership and cooperation will be inked next year. The UK's Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague wished Mongolia a success in preparation for the 7th Ministerial conference of the Community of Democracies /CoD/, and underlined that Britain has been giving a special attention to this event.
