PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE AND MTU TO COLLABORATE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Presidential Office and the Mongolian Trade Unions (MTU) will collaborate in increasing a participation of public, citizens, workers and the MTU members in realization of the President's authority and action plan and in improving a people's livelihood and social welfare. A cooperation memorandum was inked last Friday by B.Nergui, a deputy head of the Presidential Office, and by Kh.Amgalanbaatar, a vice president of the MTU. The memorandum also aims to refine upon a legal environment for the labour relations and to develop the social partnership. In frames of the cooperation memorandum, the Civil Hall will organize open discussions dedicated to the labour and social welfare issues, and a national forum will also run under auspices of the State Head. Moreover, some directions to solve problems of labour and social welfare will be given to the government, andm if necessary, some laws will have veto. Present at the signing ceremony were S.Ganbaatar MP and MTU president; P.Tsagaan, a head of the Presidential Office; A.Ganbaatar, an advisor to the President on public relations and common policy; and G.Adiya, the secretary-general of the MTU.
