Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Order of Chingis Khaan has been bestowed upon D.Bat-Erdene, the governor of Arkhangai aimag in accordance with an order of the Prime Minister.
The Order was given as recognition of the governor's contribution to ensuring of human rights and freedom in locality on Tuesday by Ch.Monkhbat, a head of the Citizens' Representative Khural of the province, on occasion of the International Human Rights Day.

Kinds of plants and their yield have been declining year to year due to negative actions of people and the climate change, according to a survey conducted by professional organizations.
1,214 kinds of plants were registered in forest-steppe and steppe regions of Arkhangai aimag by a survey the year 1989. According to a detailed regional research, conducted in 2005-2006 in Ogii Lake, 266 sorts of flower plants in 167 kinds of 51 families were registered, and determined by names. By the year 2011, a regional survey listed 150 sorts of plants in 55 kinds of 35 families.

A Lieutenant-Colonel T.Oyunbaatar has been appointed the head of the Police Department of Dornod aimag. Before this, he worked as a senior agent of the City's Police Department.
The new head has got au fait with his works and took duties from the former head Colonel Ts.Batsukh. As soon as taking his office, T.Oyunbaatar has given orders to heads of police sections.
