MONGOLIAN DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN FORUM OF GAVI

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The deputy Speaker of Parliament S.Bayartsogt and the Minister for Health N.Udval have participated in the Partners' Forum of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI). The measure ran December 5-7 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with participation of 680 representatives of 140 countries. A ceremony was arranged to award some countries, among whom Mongolia was receiving the Co-Financing and Sustainability award as recognition of its have fulfilled co-financing requirements for GAVI-supported vaccines and provided funding for non GAVI-supported vaccines in 2011. Ms N.Udval delivered a lecture “Vaccination activity” and participated in all forums of GAVI. Mr Bayartsogt took part in branch sessions and exchanged views on ways parliament can support the vaccination and increase a financing.
