MEETING ON IT SECURITY RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government Ch.Saikhanbileg addressed an opening of the "Information Technology 2012" meeting on Friday at the State House. Ch.Saikhanbileg underlined that the information security has become an urgent problem in every country, and that our state must protect its E-space similar to defending the air and the land borders in accordance with the concept of the national security. "The cabinet for reforms is aiming to renovate the business environment, to make the state service the public service and make it faster," he said. First steps have been done, in the IT sphere for example, such as creating an infrastructure of the state information exchange, transferring the E-database of the state organizations into the Data center, accelerating a process of electronic signature, he added. Then the participants discussed a present situation of the state database and information security of the state organizations, urgent problems, necessary measures for a short and middle terms. The meeting has brought together officials from ministries, agencies, the Internet and mobile phone operators, and representatives of universities, institutes and private sector. B.Khuder
