Saudi Arabia to attend GCC Interior Officials Meeting

Riyadh, October 26, SPA -- Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem, the Under
Secretary at the Ministry of Interior, will head the delegation of
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to meetings of a Preparatory Committee,
comprising GCC Interior Under Secretaries starting its two-day works
Tuesday in Doha.

The GCC officials will prepare for the upcoming 27th meeting of the
GCC Interior Ministers Council, scheduled to begin its two-day
deliberations on November 4. They will review also other topics on
the agenda including means of enhancing cooperation and coordination
among GCC countries in areas of security and crime control.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is made up of Saudi Arabia, the
United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
