Boeing selects Emirati students for international internship

Dubai, Dec 17, 2012 (WAM) - The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] on Sunday announced the selection of three Emirati students for its 2013 International Business Intern Co-Op Programme. The annual programme, launched for the first time in the United Arab Emirates, allows students to spend six months working in the United States at the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) plant in Renton, Washington. The three students selected for the programme are Zainab Al Junaibi, an American University in Dubai (AUD) student from Abu Dhabi; Shamma Khalfan Al Nuaimi, a United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) student from Al Ain; and Maha Yaqoot Juma Harqoos, a Zayed University (ZU) student from Dubai. “By interning with the world’s largest aerospace company, these students will be given a chance to contribute to projects that will not only have a measurable impact on our company but also on the aerospace industry,” said Jeffrey Johnson, president of Boeing Middle East. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
