Snowfall blocks roads to 218 villages in Turkey

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 17 / Trend A. Taghieyva / Heavy snowfall in the Turkish province of Van has blocked the roads to 218 villages, the agency Dogan said today. A snow level in the province of Van is 35-100 centimetres. Around 100 people and 13 snowploughs are cleaning the roads. Sharp frost has been observed in Turkey since last week.
