RE-VOTING TO RUN AT 23RD CONSTITUENCY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The General Election Commission (GEC) has decided that a re-voting of the parliamentary election will run December 24 at the 23rd constituency of the city's Songinokhairkhan district. This re-voting has become necessary due to candidates D.Sumyabazar (Mongolian People's Party) and L.Erkhembayar (Democrats) who had not gained a minimum 28-percent votes at the parliamentary election on June 28. Then they were to race again on November 21, together with the elections of the Citizens' Representative Khural of aimags, soums and districts, but were postponed due to a claim given by L.Erkhembayar to a court.
