PRESIDENT YUDHOYONO ARRIVES BACK HOME

Jakarta, Oct 26 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and entourage arrived back here on Sunday at 8 p.m after a five-day working visit to Beijing, China, from October 22 to 26, 2008.

The president who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Ani Yudhoyono, arrived at Halim Perdana Kusuma airport aboard a presidential A330-300 airliner.
At the airport, the president and party were greeted by Finance Minister/Acting Chief Economic Minister Sri Mulyani, Bank Indonesia Governor Boediono and Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo.
Yudhoyono was in Beijing to attend the 7th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) held in the Chinese capital on October 24 and 25.
Besides attending the ASEM forum along with 42 other heads of state and government from Asia and Europe, Yudhoyono also attended a meeting of ASEAN leaders and ASEAN+3 meeting.
The president during the visit also held a number of bilateral talks with a number of Asian-European leaders, including Chinese President Hu Jintao, Frence President Nicholas Sarkozy, Thai Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.
The Indonesian ministers joining the President included Chief Security Minister Widodo AS, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, State Enterprises Minister Sofyan Djalil, Foreign Affairs Minister Hassan Wirajuda, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari, Environment Minister Rachmat Witoelar and Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi.
