Iran Calls For Boost In Cultural Ties With Afghanistan

Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA – Head of Iran's National Library and Archives Organization Es'haq Salahi here on Monday called for expansion of cultural ties with Afghanistan. Salahi made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Afghan Minister of Information and Culture Makhdum Rahin. The Afghan minister, for his part, praised Iran's cultural and scientific achievements. He further referred to Tehran and Kabul as two friendly states./end
