Fire centered on Georgian MP’s house

Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 3 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia / The house of Georgian majority MP representing Akhmeta district, Olympic judo champion Zurab Zviadauri has been fired from automatic weapons. Zviadauri told journalists that the incident occurred between 01:00 and 1:30 on January 1. Some 13 bullets were fired at the bedroom windows, no injuries were reported. The deputy said that wanted Giorgi Kistauri, who escaped to Ukraine before elections was detained on the case. He was brought to Georgia by former Deputy Interior Minister Georgi Lordkipanidze in anticipation of elections.
