Netherlands intends allocating funds to Georgia for democracy development

Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan.8 / Trend N.Kirtskhalia / The Netherlands intends to allocate additional funds to Georgia to promote the development of democracy, chairman of the Parliamentary Defence Committee of the Netherlands, Ten Brook told journalists in Tbilisi. He said the Dutch Parliament is currently working on its foreign policy budget and intends to become acquainted with the situation in Georgia to create a complete view of the country. "I really want to get acquainted with the situation in Georgia after the democratic parliamentary elections held on Oct.1," Brook said. He said that a peaceful transfer of power occurred in Georgia, which "can only be welcomed".
