Jakarta Governor Meets Vice President

Jakarta, Jan 16 (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Djoko Widodo (Jokowi) met with Vice President Boediono at the vice presidential office in Medan Merdeka Utara street here on Wednesday at 10.05 am local time. Jokowi was wearing a white-colour Betawi traditional outfit with black pants, a cap and a scarf at the meeting with Boediono. Jokowi met with the Vice President for the first time after becoming the Governor of Jakarta. According to several sources, the meeting discussed the financing of Mass-Rapid Transit MRT) system in Jakarta and the current condition of the capital. Boediono was accompanied by the head of the Presidential Working Unit for Supervision and Development Management (UKP4), Kuntoro Mangkusubroto.
