Tehran, Karachi exchanges to boost cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 19 / Trend F.Mehdi/ Tehran Stock Exchange and Karachi Stock Exchange will finalize a deal in the near future, paving the way for transactions in each other by shareholders of the two sides, ILNA quoted Hamed Soltaninejad, the managing director of the Central Investment Company, as saying. According to the deal, Iranian and Pakistani shareholders will be able to buy stocks of the each other directly, he said. On November 20, 2012, Managing Director of Tehran Stock Exchange Hassan Qalibaf-Asl signed a cooperation agreement with Managing Director of Karachi Stock Exchange Nadim Naqavi, IRNA reported. Based on the agreement, TSE and KSE will foster cooperation and prepare the ground and opportunities for the two countries businessmen to perform deals. The two agencies undertook to exchange experience, relevant knowledge and expertise.
