Majlis Speaker: Iran-Sudan Share Close Stands On Regional Developments

Khartoum, Jan 23, IRNA – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani says Iran and Sudan share very close stances on regional developments. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his meeting with Sudanese First Vice-President on Tuesday, Larijani said, ˈOur approach to regional issues and developments is very close to that of our Sudanese brothers and we will reach very good results in the field under mutual consultations.ˈ He said Sudan is our close ally and we enjoy cordial ties. ˈThe country has been playing a very important role in promoting Islam in Africa,ˈ said Larijani./end
