Anti-terrorism legislation to be discussed in Kazakhstan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 28 / Trend E. Kosolapova/ Kazakh city of Astana will host a workshop on January 30-31, where the national law on terrorism will be discussed, the Kazakh Central Communications Service under the President reported on Monday. "The purpose of the workshop is to bring the national legislation in line with international instruments on counter- terrorism on the basis of the rule of law," the Central Communications Service said. The workshop will be attended by representatives of the UN Development Program, the Supreme Court, the Attorney General's Office, the Foreign Ministry, the Agency on Fighting Economic and Corruption Crimes and the Bar.
