Georgian-Russian vehicular traffic closed again

Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 26 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia / The Georgian-Russian vehicular traffic has been closed again because of the danger of avalanches, the Georgian Road Department told Trend on Monday. The department stressed that the movement of all types of cars on the Kobi-Gudauri site of the Georgian Military Road in the direction of the checkpoint at the Georgian-Russian border "Upper Lars" has been prohibited. "At present, the movement on this section has been prohibited due to bad weather and poor visibility, as well as the danger of avalanches," the department said.
