UAE participates in Arab League's meeting to discuss displaced Syrians issue

Cairo, Feb 13, 2013 (WAM) - The UAE has participated in the extraordinary meeting to discuss the report of the Arab League mission on the situation of Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries of Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. The meeting was hosted yesterday by the Arab League Council of States at the level of permanent delegates. The UAE delegation was led by Acting Charge d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Cairo, Ahmed Hatim Al-Menhali, and included Ali Al Shumaili, third secretary at the embassy. Secretary General of Arab League, Dr. Nabil Elaraby and UN-Arab League Deputy Joint Special Envoy for Syria Nasser Al-Kidwa attended the meeting. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
