Change Of Life System Solves Issues On Women

Delft, The Netherlands, Mar 14 (ANTARA) - The change of life system by putting women in a condition based on their roles as mothers and wives, and protecting them from all forms of material exploitations can solves the problems they face, an observer said. "The life system is Islam that teaches people to never put the material stuffs above the morality, or money above human dignity," an observer on woman affairs from Hizbut-Tahrir Central Media Office, Fika Monika, said in a statement received by ANTARA here Thursday. According to her, the equalization of rights between women and men through material rewards such as the right to equal pay in the work or the chances of achieving the highest position in the company, which has been the goal of the gender equality movements, is western people�s way of thinking which is trapped in the capitalism system. "Capitalism measures the value of a human from the amount of material he or she can obtain so that women are forced to work hard to attain recognitions," she said. On the other hand, when a head of family is unable to meet the needs of his family, the wife must then be willing to work with the risks of leaving their children and their safety in the midst of a social environment which is increasingly away from morality. Fika said she did not dismiss the global efforts undertaken by many international organizations and institutions, however, all the efforts were never solve the gender equality issues completely. "The root of violence against women is an ideological problem, rather than gender or patriarchal sentiment," Fika said. She explained Islam fosters the mentality of women to accomplish their responsibility as wives and mothers by giving them an understanding that these are the greatest glory of women. Thus they (the women) will not easily leave their families and their children, she added. Simultaneously, the government which applies Islam as its system will seriously fulfill the basic needs of the people, improve their welfare and build an excellent civic society.
