Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry denies involvement of Baku in bank notes delivery to Syrian authorities

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 19 / Trend S.Agayeva / The Syrian authorities have not appealed to Azerbaijan for use of its air space for transit of bank notes, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abullayev said at a news briefing on Friday. According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijan also did not sell diesel fuel to Syria, as reported by media outlets. Early, some media outlets reported that Azerbaijan has provided its airspace for the illegal transit of banknotes from Russia to the Syrian authorities. Do you have any feedback?
