Azerbaijani President receives Commerzbank AG Chairman of Board of Managing Directors

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 23 / Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Commerzbank AG, Martin Blessing. Blessing said he paid his first visit to Azerbaijan five years ago, adding the country saw rapid economic development over this period of time. He stressed the importance of what had been done to diversify economy in Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of Martin Blessing was a good opportunity to review the existing potential between the country and the bank, and discuss prospects for developing the cooperation. The President said Azerbaijan ensured rapid economic development in recent years, adding that economic, social and infrastructure projects have been successfully carried out in the country. The sides discussed prospects for expanding the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Commerzbank in the non-oil sector, particularly in supplying agricultural equipment and increasing productivity.
