GCC ministers hold meeting

Doha, November 04 , SPA -- Ministers of Information of Gulf
Cooperation Council countries held here today their 17th meeting.

Following the meeting, Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin
Amin Madani made a statement to Saudi Press Agency in which he said
the ministers discussed the progress of implementation of
recommendations of the 16th meeting of the Ministers of Information
of Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The minister highlighted the ministers' approval of a Saudi proposal
to organize a workshop to discuss drafting a strategy for joint media
work among the GCC countries over the coming ten years.
