Express Rail Link Receives Environmental Commitment Award

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 (Bernama) -- Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), the operator of the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train, has received the Environmental Commitment Award. The award was presented at the Global AirRail Awards 2013 in Frankfurt recently. Chief executive officer, Noormah Mohd Noor, said in a statement on Wednesday: "The award underscores the close cooperation between ERL and its wholly-owned subsidiary, ERL Maintenance Support Sdn Bhd, which manages the operations and maintenance of the trains." The Global AirRail Award is the first ever international award ceremony dedicated to the air-rail market to recognise the best practice in intermodal travel globally. --BERNAMA
